Description:
The German National Library (client) is the central archive library and the National Bibliographical Center of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a present library and offers the registered users at both locations in Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main for inspection on their premises. They can be ordered via online catalog and used in the various reading rooms. Via the portal catalog on the reading room computers, users can also view online publications in full text.

The majority of DNB's media works are in non -public areas that are inaccessible to users (so -called magazines). These are distributed over all three components of the DNB Leipzig (existing building, book towers, 4th extension).
