Description:
The municipality of Walpertskirchen plans to convert the former daycare center in Walpertskirchen into a citizens' and club house for various social uses. In cooperation with a working group of local associations and organizations, the necessary uses were developed in the Variants of the feasibility study.
It later served as a commercial and living space. From 1972 to 2022 it was used as a daycare center, since then it has been empty.
The concrete requirements for the converted building are Strengthening the interior through social services, a social office, group rooms for association uses and the largest possible event room with around 185 seats that extends over the entire upper floor. With mobile partitions, part of the room should be used as a shooting range 10 stands can be used. The revitalization of the center is the central task. A "village cafe" with an associated outdoor area should serve as a contact point for all generations and create the connection to the village square and the urban area. Detailed information can be used a feasibility study.
