The constructionThe SuedOstLink (SOL) high-voltage direct current connection makes a significant contribution to the transport of energy from renewable sources from northern to southern Germany. With a targeted output of 2 gigawatts (GW), the project makes a significant contribution to grid stability and forms the basis forview of the nuclear power plants in southern Germany, which will finally be taken off the grid in 2023, is an important part of the social project of the "energy transition".
