This announcement is a preliminary information for market research, for an intended public tender (EU-wide). Interested bidders have the opportunity to express their interest. The Leibniz-Institute for Food Systems Biology at the Technical University of Munich intends to place an order based on this service description for the delivery, assembly, installation, instruction and complete commissioning of a two-dimensional gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry system (GC×GC-TOF/MS system) with an EI ion source and a liquid nitrogen GCxGC thermomodulator. Furthermore, a secondary GC oven should be available for separate heating of the 2nd GC column (2nd dimension). It must be possible to inject samples into the gas chromatograph in the first dimension using an autosampler. The scope of services must also include the delivery and installation of the supply lines for the gases to the gas chromatographs (nitrogen, helium) and the thermomudulator. Furthermore, the contractor requires a computer with a monitor and software for measuring operation and data analysis.
