In April 2024, the municipality of Borchen, as one of the first municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia, released a com-Munale heat planning (KWP). According to the results of the KWP, heat networks can be realized in various areas of the municipality.Districts northern bristle and Doerenhagen. Application, planning, construction and operation of the heating networks should be made by private investors on your own account. The municipality would like to build an economically attractive heat network for the customers and investorsby supporting its municipal properties (schools, daycare centers, municipal halls, etc.), which is located in the supply area, as an anchor sector at the earliest possible time. The performance of the heat delivery for these properties is the subjectof the award procedure.
