Immobilien Projektmanagement Düsseldorf GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the state capital Düsseldorf (LHD). The IPM carries out various construction contracts on behalf of the LHD out of. She intends to have a new building built for the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf - the opera house of the future - on behalf of the LHD Am Wehrhahn 1 in Düsseldorf-Stadtmitte between Tonhallenstrasse and Oststrasse. The goal is to build one pioneering building that creates a space for culture and communication in an innovative and at the same time economical form. At the new location, not only the functions of a contemporary new opera and ballet house are to be redeveloped, but also additional institutions will be integrated, namely the municipal Clara Schumann Music School and the music library of the Düsseldorf city libraries. The opera house of the future should be a cultural venue for all citizens.
