• Supportive services for the killing of poultry and cloven-hoofed animals in the event of an animal disease Lot 1 poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese) The Animal Disease Fund of the State of Brandenburg is an unincorporated special fund of the state. It is provided by the state office administered under the name “State Office for Occupational Safety, Consumer Protection and Health - Animal Disease Fund”. The animal health insurance fund, representing the state of Brandenburg, tenders the following service: a) the provision of suitable and operational animals material, technical and personnel capacities to carry out the killing of poultry, pigs, cattle, sheep and goats in accordance with an official killing order in the event of an animal disease, in compliance with the applicable regulations of the animal disease, Animal protection, environmental and disposal law including the loading of killed/dead animals into containers at the animal rendering facility and b) the implementation of the aforementioned measures immediately after the service has been requested by the responsible authority State of Brandenburg (responsible district veterinary office) but no later than 24 hours after retrieval. The killings must be carried out as quickly as possible to prevent the further spread of the animal disease. Compliance with confidentiality is expressly stated referred. The selection of the killing methods and the order in which the killings are to be carried out is made by the responsible authority.
