  • Since 2016, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the National Forest and Grass Department (NFGA) have been cooperating as part of the Forest Policy Facility in order to promote sustainable and multifunctional forest management at the national level. For this purpose, a project with a demonstration character for the promotion of sustainable forest management methods in the province of Shanxi has been carried out for this purpose, in the course of the development of a sustainable forest management plan (FMP) for the forests of the state forestry Zhong Cun Zhongtiaoshan (ZCSFF) and local technical Personal is trained. The future project (W-Tchnt 24-01) aims to strengthen national politics for sustainable forest management based on the results and experiences from the first phase of the Shanxi project.
