- The DLR builds and operates the Wind energy research park Krummendeich Wivaldi. At this research park at the mouth of the Elbe, two enercon wind turbines and a total of four flanking measurement masts for research purposes were already in operation. The research park is now being expandedA third modular wind energy system, the so -called opus 3 of the type DLR500.50. The design of this wind turbine is based on the SG500.54 small series system and was further developed in the project "Expturb - Design of an Experimental Turbine" (funding number: 0325613, project documentation (DLR.de)).The developed design is implemented in the current project "Opus 3 - Building an Experimental Turbine (funding number: 03E2045) and the experimental turbine opus 3 is built, built and put into operation. For the system control, a supplier is sought for theDelivery of the necessary hardware and software.
