The state capitalMunich is planning the general repair and energy-efficient renovation of the Munich municipal orphanage.

The Munich orphanage is the purpose-built operation of the Munich Orphanage Foundation. The Munich Orphanage Foundation is managed and represented by the foundation administration in the social department. The purposeThe Munich orphanage is operated by the social department/city youth welfare office as a child and youth welfare facility. Today, the Munich orphanage, based on the Child and Youth Welfare Act, offers a wide range of educational assistance under one roof in the inpatient and day-care areas.Three child protection centers are offered (two groups aged 0 to 4 and one group aged 4 to 14), one transitional residential group (4 to 12 years), six special education groups (3 to 16 years) as well as two fully or partially supervised youth residential groups and two outdoor residential groups. In addition, twoi Part-time curative education day groups are offered. In summary, this means that the orphanage provides a home for a total of 121 children and young people and also provides 16 day-care places.
