Description: The targeted support of Ukrainian forest management in forestry issues and the technical support of the National Forest Inventory is aim of this project.
Advising the State Agency for Wald Resources of Ukraine in Forestry Questions by the Federal Ministry of Nutrition and Agriculture (BMEL) began in 2016 as part of the existing agricultural policy dialogue with Ukraine.
This continuous format of providing technical forestry expertise for the state agency for forest resources should be continued with this project. In principle, this consulting offer is oriented needs-oriented, but the topic of improving forestry planning procedures, taking into account expected effects of climate change, is already fixed.
