The contractual subject is the development of a telemedicine platform for the University Hospital Magdeburg and the University Hospital Halle (Saale).

The contractor is commissioned to develop a telemedicine platform. A telemedicalThe platform includes the distribution of specific know-how from the physical place of residence of the doctor to any place in the country via telemedicine. Especially in times of lack of staff in the country (e.g. closure of specialist departments or entire hospitalsdue to lack of staff; Uncepted KV seats) the telemedical platform must be the backbone of general interest and element of the needs-based care. In the first step, we planned the networking of the hospitals. The following three prioritized application cases wereDesigned, which are to be implemented in the first step: 1) Tumor conferences as well as 2) Teleradiological and 3) Pediatric applications. On the same platform, other sensible fields of application should then be possible and useful in the future. For details, please refer to Appendix 03-Description of performance.
