Award procedure for passenger screening service for Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport
The Muenster district government is the responsible aviation security authority for Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport for carrying out the tasks in accordance with Section 5Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). The special powers include, among other things, the checks of passengers and baggage in accordance with Section 5 LuftSiG (passenger screening service). The transfer of the passenger screening service to an appropriate security service provider is the subject of this procedure.
The contract wed closed for the period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028. It ends automatically without the need for termination, unless the client makes use of the extension option. The client is entitled to extend the contract under the same conditionsonen for at least three, but a maximum of six months (unilateral option right). This option can be exercised by the client up to twice, so that the contract can be extended by a total of up to 12 months (i.e. a maximum of December 31, 2029).
