  Excerpt: 2.2 Investigation methodology, documentation and data storage 2.2.1 Sampling - excerpt The sampling at the total of 140 sampling locations should be staggered in the years 2026 and 2027: 2026 - 50 sampling points (2 sampling each) 2027 - 90 sampling points (2 samplings each) A unique ID must be used to designate the sampling points, which must be agreed with the client before the investigations begin. It is the contractor's responsibility to select the sample sites relevant for the respective year from the specified sample site pool. The test sites (cf. Cape. 2.1) were selected in advance based on the presence of relevant watercourses (smaller streams) and the target species fire salamander. If sampling sites cannot be sampled due to the water drying out, the contractor is responsible for finding suitable replacement locations to select and sample in a spatial context. The sampling itself should take place in the area of ​​the specified locations, whereby these should not be interpreted as a precise specification, but rather as a rough location that is sensibly adapted on site according to the habitat conditions can.
