- The subject of the tender is the transport and thermal disposal of the sewage sludge generated at the Heidenheim-Mergelstetten sewage treatment plant in BImSchG-approved incineration plants in accordance with current legal regulations. From January 1st, 2029 Phosphorus recovery is required by law. Accordingly, from January 1, 2029, combustion must take place in mono-incineration plants with subsequent phosphorus recovery. The contract is to run from May 4th, 2026 to April 30th, 2030 become. The Heidenheim-Mergelstetten sewage treatment plant currently produces around 5,000 tonnes of dewatered sewage sludge every year a DM content of 25-35%, in exceptional cases up to 40%. The sewage sludge has rotted out and meets the limit values currently valid AbfKlärV. Corresponding analyzes are included in the appendix.
