- The fire brigade Velbert plans, as part of an open procedure, to carry out the allocation of a time contract for the preparation of the fire and emergency services, over a period of initially 3 years. In the mutual agreement, there is a three -time extension option each one year. The fundamental component is the care, preparation, maintenance, repair and documentation of the personal protective equipment of the emergency services and the implementation of the transport logistics according to the information from the list of services. The possibility of hygienic preparation With LCO2 procedures (or at least equivalent cleaning process) must be given. A suitable, electronically controllable cabinet system must be provided for the operational clothing of the emergency services, which enables an evaluation of the clothing circulation and inventory management. Application clothing for fire protection and technical assistance is kept for the approximately 450 employees in the form of personalized protective clothing. In the emergency services, protective clothing is managed as a central clothing pool and comprises around 2500 items of clothing. In addition to the regular Laundry preparation is required for express deliveries in which the contractor has to pick up the operational clothing from the client at the latest three hours after request, and cleaned and checked 24 hours later. It will be a fixed contact with telephone accessibility required, as well as a telephone 24/7 accessibility for the request of express deliveries. Telephone hotlines are not permitted. The documentation and inventory management takes place in a online platform (cloud solution) provided by the contractor.
