The contract to be awarded includes planning and construction services as a total contractor for the turnkey construction of the new building of the Dieter Forte Comprehensive School (DFG) including a sports hall.
Total contractor services for planning and new construction of the Dieter Forte comprehensive school in Duesseldorf
The client intends to award total contractor services for the new construction of the Dieter Forte Comprehensive School (DFG), including dismantling work on the existing buildings. The DFG currently has over 1,300 students in sections A (classes, administration, auditorium) and B (sports area, cafeteria, swimming pool). The structural condition of both parts of the building is in serious need of renovation and no longer meets today's functional, educational and energy requirements. Due to its dimensions, the existing building complex is suitable for mapping the spatial program to be implemented currently not suitable. The aim is to gradually dismantle and rebuild the two parts of the DFG building in two construction phases, excluding interim solutions. The new building includes general teaching, specialist and administrative rooms, a cafeteria with kitchen, auditorium/forum, all-day rooms and lounge areas as well as the school sports areas.
