• Description:
• The scope of services includes the following service areas: (1) operation of the tourist information provided by the awarding authority; The tourist information is located in the manor house “Steinweg 4”, where the Walkenried World Heritage Information Center in the Harz is also located is located. The operation includes the following partial services: a) Keeping the tourist information office open and operating with at least one qualified employee as a contact person for tourists on site as follows: ▪ Tuesday to Sunday at least 34 hours, spreadable according to tourist needs (support from back office as needed) in the summer season from April to October ▪ Tuesday to Saturday at least 25 hours, spreadable according to tourist needs (support from back office as needed) in the winter season from December to March ▪ Possibly limited opening hours in November ▪ as well as additional opening times on public holidays (New Year's Day closed), Easter (Good Friday but closed), Christmas (Boxing Day but closed), New Year's Eve, on special events and events and depending on the number of guests, especially in the peak season b) Vacation and illness cover for the TI employee c) Training, qualification of the TI employee, ongoing quality assurance, ongoing control d) ongoing provision of information in the lobby of the tourist information office during and outside opening hours e) distribution of maps and information material f) advice on local transport access and connections g) Shop h) Setting up and maintaining unstaffed tourist information points, preferably connected to or in tourist-frequented facilities in the Zorge and Wieda districts; Providing information for Guests and hosts at times relevant to tourism; Costs incurred in the facilities such as rent or proportional cleaning costs are borne by the awarding authority i) Participation and...
