Description:
Ulzburger Strasse is a main road to the city of Norderstedt. The municipality of Henstedt-Ulzburg can be reached via Ulzburger Strasse. In the south, Ulzburger Strasse runs to the Ochsenzoll / Hamburg. As a result, Ulzburger Strasse makes a main connectionin the north-south direction for the Norderstedter urban area (see also overview situation plan). In recent years, the area between Rathausallee and Glashuette Weg has already been redesigned. Both -side cycling systems were produced between the Rathausallee and Waldstrasse. In theArea of business between Waldstrasse and Glashuetter Weg was a speed 30 zone with a corresponding mixing traffic of the wheel and motorized traffic. The section on Ulzburger Strasse to be planned is located between the Glashuette Weg and the Harckesheyde streetand borders the districts of Harkheide and Friedrichs gift from each other. Since Ulzburger Strasse is also part of the main route for cycling and therefore represents a connecting function for cycling, the goal of bicycle traffic facilities in the area to be planned should be pursuedare.
