At the Holzdamm location on the corner of Ernst-Merk-Strasse, the existing main station coupling point must be replaced by the construction of an underground rectifier plant.
The energy supply to the Hamburg S-Bahn network must be provided with a transportable rectifier during the construction periodwork Hamburg C (tGWC). There is therefore a need to procure and commission another transportable rectifier plant in Hamburg (called tGWC). The transportable, modular rectifier plant (tGWC) is intended to provide temporary replacement power forr the S-Bahn power supply can be used. The tGWC will consist of 5 modules. Complete functionality is achieved by interconnecting all modules. It is intended for temporary use in connection with construction projects or in the event of accidents and is intended to be universal, regardless of locationentire S-Bahn power supply network in Hamburg.
