Description:
Delivery of a Triple Quad ICP mass spectrometer
A new ICP-MS device is being advertised as a central component of a new laboratory at the University of Bremen, in the Department of Geosciences. The device is a so-called triple quad ICP-MS, i.e. it must have two quadrupole massesnfilter with a collision/reaction cell (CRC) in between. This means that both polyatomic (e.g. 16O16O on 32S) and isobaric (e.g. 87Rb on 87Sr) mass interferences must be able to be eliminated. The offer must contain all components required for an ICP-MS analysisn and functions included, including plasma torch, sample and skimmer cones, peristaltic pump, atomizer, spray chamber, vacuum pumps, control computer with monitor, and the current software to control the device.
Also required is an equipment table, an autosampler and a water-water cooler includedbe old. The coupling of both a laser ablation system and a system for online matrix separation and pre-enrichment (e.g. for the analysis of seawater samples) must be possible and supported by the software.
