• The Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden) is striving for an innovative partnership in the field of automotive technology. The aim of the partnership is to develop the legal and technical framework and, above all, the use and innovation potential TU Dresden. The partnership is intended to become a joint flagship project for automotive technology. A cooperation with an engineering company is therefore planned. The basis for the cooperation is a contractually regulated one Industrial partnership intended. The innovation partnership is scheduled to run from February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2038. It can be done by either party with a notice period of 6 months on January 31st. of the following year. The chair Automotive Technology (LKT) at TU Dresden operates several test benches for testing and analyzing vehicles in the Vehicle Technology Testing Center (FVZ) and in the Smart Mobility Lab (SML) at TUD. The economic operation of these test benches should be carried out within the framework of the planned innovation partnership. The partner should operate and maintain the test benches on behalf of LKT and in return be given the opportunity to use them for their own commercial purposes. If possible, the partner should own their own Bring test benches into the innovation partnership, which are to be operated on LKT premises. LKT should be allowed to use these for research and teaching.
