Description: A so-called two-dimensional gas chromatography system with time-of-flight mass spectrometer for short: GCxGC-ToF / MS is to be acquired. This should consist of a gas chromatograph with modulator, a time-of-flight mass spectrometer, an odor detector, an autosampler and the associated PC hardware and software. A gas chromatograph of the latest generation is expected, which is equipped with either a thermal or a flow modulator and already contains a basic set of gas chromatography columns. An autosampler should be available for automatic injection of the samples. The supplied PC should ensure smooth operation of the device. In addition to operating the device, the supplied software should enable the evaluation of the complex analysis data and, in particular, offer the possibility of deconvolution. In addition, the software should contain chemometrics features.
