Electrical engineering work
At the administration building of the Employment Agency (AA) in Ulm, a missing 10-field 0.4kV low-voltage switchgear including a 400kVA 10/0.4kV network transformer from 1979 is to be replaced. The two technical rooms are located within the AA underground car park and can be reached via a public access road from Wichernstrasse. The conversion measure includes the new installation of the switchgear and transformer as well as the dismantling of the existing systems.
The LV contains the services required for the electrical work.
Due to the 0.4 kV network shutdown during the renovation work on the low-voltage switchgear, some of the assembly work can only be carried out on weekends agreed with the AA.
Two separate weekends are planned for the assembly work with power shutdown.
The transformer assembly can be carried out during normal working hours, as a second separate transformer room and an MS field are available for this purpose. After the new transformer has been put into operation, the existing transformer is dismantled and disposed of.
