Description:
The aim of this project is to implement a unit can (UD) supply to patient -specific pharmaceutical supply at the Heidelberg University Hospital. The unit can supply includes the automated provision of fixed oral drugs through a centrally in the hospital pharmacyinstalled UD machines. It is currently open which clinical information system (KIS), which digital fever curve and which medication software will be used in the future. The integration of the unit can supply as well as the definition and assignment of the required functions (e.g.Validation by a pharmacist) and sub-processes are therefore to be developed as part of a detailed coordination with the later selected providers of the respective IT systems.Unit can system consisting of 2 automatic blasting machines for the supply of approx. 2000 beds of a hospital of maximum care.
