Construction of a weir with movable closures and an overflow section
To improve flood protection on the Mulde, the EEstablishment of the controlled Loebnitz polder. In the future, the polder will be operated via the inlet structure: When the inlet structure is opened, the polder will flow through and once the floodwaters have receded, the polder areas will be emptied via the outlet structure. The inlet structure consists of oneSolid structure with two 20 m wide and approx. 2.0 m high movable flap closures and a 20 m long overflow section.
The following main construction work must be carried out:
•approx. 900 m preparing construction roads
•approx. 2,000 m³ reinforced concrete inlet structure C35/45
•approx. 2,800 m2 hydraulic engineering pavement/risea
•approx. 40,000 m³ earth and dike construction work
•3 service buildings
•approx. 400 m of sheet piling work
•approx. 4,000 m2 asphalt work
•approx. 1,500 m2 concrete paving paths
•2 pieces of steel hydraulic construction closures, flaps approx. 21.0 x 2.1 m
•2 pieces of hydraulic drives; 1 cylinder unit each with 2 x 4 kW pumps
•9 piecesk Central supports inspection closure
•Power supply system
•Low-voltage distribution, interior and exterior lights
•Frost protection heating, air conditioning, ventilation system
•Earthing and equipotential bonding, internal lightning protection
•Measurement technology
•Emergency stop, PLC and programming
