Description:
According to § 30 of the circular economy law (KRWG), the countries set waste management plans for their area according to local points of view. In Saarland, the waste management plan (AWP) has so far been in the sub -plans "settlement waste" (version of March 2022) and "Waste from Industry and Commerce (Version of May 2019). The waste management plans are to be evaluated at least every 6 years in accordance with Section 31 (5) KrWG and continued if necessary. Accordingly, a review of the sub -plan "waste from industry and trade" was carried out and the need for a update was carried out noted. The determined need for a update lies in the entry into force of the replacement building materials regulation (replacement building materials) in 2023 and the amendment of the landfill regulation (DEPV) in 2024, since these innovations with significant changes in the fabric currents mineral drops are connected. In-depth waste management planning therefore requires AKualization of the AWP, including this and beyond, developments.
