The so -called "black trench" is a stream that arises as the right -wing inflow of the Werra near Widdershausen and Fliest flies through Leimbach. The East Hessian Leimbach is a district of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district and is located directly on the state border between Hesse and Thuringia. The Rohrlache nature reserve of Heringen is also not far from Leimbach, which from the Bachlauf is cut. The nature reserve has a pond that is located near the black trench.
