Urban development measure Ostfeld, Wiesbaden; Analysis of the impact and threat to the existence of agricultural businesses
As part of the urban development measure (SEM) "Ostfeld", in accordance with Sections 165 ff. of the Building Code (BauGB), the farmers operating in the development areacommercial companies are affected by various plans in the future exercise of their activities. In 2017, the city council of the state capital Wiesbaden (LHW) initiated preparatory investigations with regard to the intended application and implementation of ther urban development measure "Ostfeld" was decided. In the course of these investigations, the legal requirements for the issuance of a corresponding development statute were examined and the framework conditions, opportunities and risks for the application of urban development measureshme analyzed in the study area. In addition, studies were carried out on, among other things, population development, social structure, current uses, ecology, nature and landscape protection, species protection, climate, traffic and development options as well as agricultural structures.
