- The part -time area south belongs to the south project network, which, as a new city district (NSQ) with approx. 8,600 WE, represents the largest housing potential in Berlin. The basis for the competition is the structure and usage concept (SNK) for the entire NSQ. The SNK sees mixed peopleand residential buildings, commercial construction areas, common space and green spaces in the planning area. In order to concretize the SNK, an urban planning freedom planning competition for the South area, today's Heinersdorf industrial estate, and the adjacent green andOpen spaces carried out.
