The City of Braunschweig and Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH plan the construction of the Stadtbahn extension to Volkmarode Nord. For this lies the Basic decision "public transport in a growing big city in the city railway expansion concept for Braunschweig" of the Council of the City of Braunschweig on February 21, 2017.
