Description:
The main goal of the Water-X project financed by the European Research Council is the efficient detection of (fast) resonant eye electrons from short-lived transient species, which are located on transition metal oxide nanoparticles in aqueous solutions. Transition metal oxides are asAttractive materials for photocatalytic water splitting by using solar energy. However, there are still considerable gaps in understanding for the underlying mechanisms and load -controlled chemical reactions with electron transfer (reduction reaction) orPunch transfer (oxidation reaction), which take place on the interface between nanoparticles (catalyst) and water.delivers from a liquid microst beam or flat jet tart to at least +/- 15 . The new electronic captor will be part of a new beamline for soft X-rays in the Lidux laboratory on the Wannsee campus.
