Planning and execution performance integrated project alliance (IPA):
The station section Alte Suederelbe (BFT ASE) is located in the western area of the BF Hamburg harbor and forms the interface between the network of DB AG in the south (BF Hausbruch Mitte) and the Waltershof / Dradenau station parts,Muehlenwerder in the north or the station parts
Altenwerder and Hansaport in the east of the port of West. The north head of the BFT Alte Suederelbe is a bottleneck and conflict point in the western harbor rail network. Here the train journeys towards Waltershof / Muehlenwerder cross on the easternRoute tracks with the trips from the train station towards Altenwerder Ost / Hansaport. Due to the crossing roads, there are often mutual travel exclusions. Shop trips between the station parts also burden this area. The measures include the construction of aTwo-track electrified western bypass between the south and north head of the BFT ASE
• The integration of the bypass in the south and northern head
• The conversion of the northern turn of the course
• The conversion of locomotive sides in the southern and northern station head
• The new construction of maneuvering locations
•The conversion of the flood protection system in the northern head
