• The municipality of Diez would like to completely renovate the “Esterauschule” at Schulstrasse 4 in 56379 Holzappel in terms of energy efficiency. The Esterauschule is a four-class primary school with a catchment area from the towns of Holzappel, Balduinstein and Balduinstein-Hausen, Charlottenberg, Cramberg, Dörnberg with the districts of Dörnberg-Hütte and Kalkofen, Geilnau, Hirschberg, Horhausen, Isselbach with the districts of Giershausen and Ruppenrod, Langenscheid, Laurenburg and Scheidt. The aim of energy renovation is reduction energy requirements and greenhouse gases, as well as improving comfort in schools.
