Description:
The Rems-Murr district intends to build a new, inclusive and barrier-free children's home for the district's special educational institutions on the Rainbrunnen education campus. A total of four kindergarten groups as well as the first and second class of theChristian-Morgenstern-School can be accommodated-for approx. 110 to 140 children.
In addition to the new building of the children's house, an expansion of the Froebelschule for approx. 60 students is planned.
The planning area is located southwest of the Froebel School and comprises approx. 7,000 m2. The planned new building andExtension areas for the uses are approx. 2,900 m2 (plus side, development and technology areas). Of this, approx. 1,900 m2 is eliminated on the children's house with dining room/cafeteria and approx. 1,000 m2 on the school extension. As part of the planning, it must be ensured that the free systemsof the children's house and the enlargement of the school are designed to be wheelchair-accessible and barrier-free.
Low-tech solutions must be examined and primarily taken into account. The notes - in particular those in the strategy paper for sustainable construction of the district assembly - must be observed; this and otherDocuments are made available to the bidders in the second stage of the VGV procedure.
The Rems-Murr-Kreis has carried out a implementation competition for architects and landscape architect. The subsequent VGV procedure has not yet been completed.
