The city of Leinfelden-Echterdingen plans to convert the former office buildings at Dieselstrasse 18/1 and 18/2 into residential buildings for around 420 refugees. Underground car park was built. with masonry, plastered and with full thermal insulation in the 1990s standard. in Built on site, the offices are mainly separated with lightweight walls or office partition systems. Height equipped with light and partly with suspended ceilings. Hot water supply decentralized via electric boiler. Electrical distribution via parapet ducts and floor tanks. as possible to intervene in the inventory in a resource-saving manner. Tea kitchens on the stairwells will be converted into laundry and drying rooms. living spaces continue to be used. This has the advantage that the existing lighting situation can largely continue to be used and only needs to be changed selectively.
