The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail connection in the Rhine-Main area to improve local public rail transport in the Frankfurt am Main conurbation. Its primary purpose is to better connect the western parts of the citythe city of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding districts, cities and communities with each other and with each other and the better connection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA North PFA Central as well as PFA South I and South II.
