Video observation of simulation rooms
Description of the planned order for a video system for student teaching:
The point is that an image and sound, transmission and recording installation is planned in 6 units, in which 2 rooms each form a unit. In the rooms there are lessons formedical students. Each unit consists of a simulation room ("sim room") and an observation room, connected by a pane mirrored in one direction.
In the sim room, a scenario (e.g. discussion and examination) takes place between the student and the acting patient, in the observationThe scenario is observed in the room and listened to via headphones. The scenario in the sim room is recorded as video. A distinction is made between teaching scenarios and exam scenarios.
Requirements for the video surveillance equipment in the sim rooms:
The video system must be used without a network connection an be the university. The technology is to be integrated into the existing infrastructure, so that Extron devices must be used. For data protection reasons, the recordings should only be on the system and only played there or saved on USB.
