Falling Walls Foundation gGmbH is a non-profit organization based in Berlin, which pursues the goal of conveying science and research into society and promoting inter- and transdisciplinary exchange. Every year, from November 7th to 9th, she brings together top -class guests from science, politics, business and culture at the Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin. The first Falling Walls Conference took place in 2009 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Wall; In 15 minutes each, 20 international scientists gave insights into impending breakthroughs in natural and humanities, life sciences, economy and technology. The series, which has been taking place since then, has become a multi -day, much -noticed platform for top international research. On November 7, the main program is supplemented by Falling Walls Venture, a competition for science-based start-ups, Falling Walls Lab, in which 100 young young scientists and from all over the world present their research work in 3 minutes as well as Falling Walls Engage, the successful scientific Engagement projects ...
