- An interior renovation is to be carried out for the vocational school "Service and Trade" in the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock, consisting of two school buildings with a total of 57 classrooms, laboratories and specialist cabinets. The Theory building (House I) is a GBR 85 school-type building The Praxis building (House II) is a WBS 70 school building from the VEB housing association in Rostock. Both buildings were built in the 80s.
The gross floor area for House I is approx. 4,950 m2 and for House II it is 3,770 m2.
The measure relates to the modernization and design of the building interior, as the outer shell has already been renewed.
The main construction measures are:
- Complete renewal of all wall and ceiling coverings, floor coverings, interior and fire doors as well as the locking system
- Installation of acoustic ceilings in the teaching and preparation rooms, administration rooms and hallways
- Complete renovation of the toilet facilities including screed, tiles and sanitary partitions
- Construction of massive shafts across all floors for ventilation pipes
- Renewal of the entire building technology (heating, ventilation, electrical, ELA, SiBe)
- New roof ducts for wastewater and ventilation pipes, Installation of ventilation devices on the roof
It includes all furniture and technical equipment as well as the specific equipment for the individual departments.
