Description: The city of Münster intends to build a music campus in close cooperation with the Westphalian Wilhelms University (WWU) in the area of the palace area including Hittorfstrasse. The Westphalian School of Music (WSfM), the Münster Symphony Orchestra and the University of Music of the University of Münster are to be located here as an open house of civil culture. The free culture and music scene should be included in the music campus.
The exact location of the music campus and its urban-architectural design have not yet been determined and should initially be discussed in principle in variants as part of a feasibility study and examined in more detail for a preferred variant.
In the near future the city of Münster intends to a. both to commission a feasibility study (town planning, building construction, open space) and to assign project management.
