Description:
DB Fernverkehr AG is planning a new ICE provision and maintenance facility at the Dortmund location.
DB Fernverkehr AG intends to use the site of the former freight station in the middle of the Dortmund-Hafen industrial area for the construction project.
The area of the disused freight yards, which is to be reactivated for the realization of the new ICE Dortmund-Hafen facility, is located on Westfaliastrasse in 44147 Dortmund. It is approximately 2,000 m long with a maximum width of up to 160 m and is located on the 2650 Cologne-Deutz Hamm (Westphalia) and 22 railway lines10 Duisburg-Ruhrort Dortmund. The area is connected to Dortmund main station via the disused route 2133.
The site is already fully owned by Deutsche Bahn; the freight station was closed in 2007.
The planning of the new ICE provision and IThe maintenance facility "ICE-Werk Dortmund-Hafen" includes, among other things, the following building components, which are relevant for this tender document:
-The four-track workshop (K1) with two work stations per track,
-An interior cleaning platform (two "IRA" tracks ) in the southof the site,
-An interior cleaning platform (two "IRA" tracks) in the north of the site,
The commissioning of the new ICE Dortmund-Hafen plant is planned for June 2027, the plant will later employ over 500 people.
