• Description:
• The Hanover Region Waste Management Association operates a mechanical-biological residual waste treatment plant (MBA) at the Hanover-Lahe location. The mechanical processing plant (MA), in which residual waste is processed in various steps, is biological processing (BA) downstream. Part of the separated fine fraction is sent to a fermentation process in which biogas is produced in three fermentation tanks. The fermentation tanks are fed using two thick matter pump lines. The Some of the fermentation material from the fermentation tanks is circulated. To do this, it is pumped back to the feed pumps by two recirculation pumps. The pump units are to be replaced with new units at the same location.
