Description:
The following goals and sub-goals are to be achieved as part of the project:
•The actual data on water requirements, on the existing systems of the user groups for public water supply, trade and industry and agriculture are to be determined, including data on groundwater qualityln, to assess deficits and weak points and to compare them with the available usable groundwater supply.
•Recording of key characteristic data on the floodplain, on the expansion and outflow as well as their main use of the OWK.
•Involvement of the support group in the forecast of the water demand,in order to detail the results of the Lower Saxony water supply concept and to limit them more locally. Familiarization with the numerical model and the numerical assessment regarding future availability in connection with climate projections for the periods up to 2030, up to 2050 and up to 2100.
•The various user groups and managers of water bodies (groundwater and surface water) should come to an agreement on possible water volume management measures and a consensus should be sought.
•Foundation of an external support group, with the participation of all relevantn Stakeholders, with external moderation to find viable solutions.
