• As part of a feasibility study, a general renovation of the existing workshops (year of construction: 1960 - 1981) as well as a new replacement for the future practice rooms were examined. At the end of the study, based on the inventory assessment, a Economic general renovation is ruled out due to significant deficiencies in fire protection, lack of accessibility, poor energy efficiency, structural damage to the structure and the space required in the future, which is why a new replacement building is being built in the east of the existing school grounds is to be realized. Specialist planning approaches were not yet integrated into the feasibility study. The implementation of the construction project should take place during ongoing school operations using several construction phases. In the A new usable area (NUF 1 - 6) of 7,593 m² is to be created in the practice areas of wood, construction, metal and automobiles. The planned new building currently also includes a cafeteria (ground and upper floors) and a teachers' room (upper floor) and is therefore closing with a gross floor area of ​​10,425 m².
