- Wangerland Touristik GmbH (WTG) is a company owned by the municipality of Wangerland and the owner of the entire property at Zum Hafen 3, 26434 Wangerland. This is currently being built with a spa center. The spa center will be completed in 2024 Thalasso Marine Spa will be built by 2025. To the west, the property has green and park areas and ends towards the North Sea with the “Friesland Therme” indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The WTG intends to build the spa center To sell part of the property and, if necessary, part of the park and green area in order to enable the construction of a new thermal hotel there (Lot 1). The development can also provide rental space for tourism information, WTG office space and event space as well as subordinate shops and (employee) living space. In addition, a contract for the service of operating the Thalasso Sea Spa is to be awarded (Lot 2). It is desirable that synergies be realized with the new construction of the spa center; The new building with the operation of the hotel and the operation of the Thalasso Sea Spa from a single source are therefore preferred.
