Description:
In the "Conversion and modernization of the Darmstadt waste-to-energy plant" project, several ventilation and partial air conditioning systems in the existing building as well as in new building parts of components BT01 and BT02 are required at the site.

These systems essentially serve the following requirements:
Removal of heatenergy that is created by warm surfaces of the system technology (combustion lines),
promotion of the amount of air into the boiler house that is required as combustion air for the combustion systems,
ensuring that the system is kept frost-free when the system is at a standstill.

There are two areas:are ventilated and are each viewed as a contiguous air space.

Airspace component 01 - Ventilation systems boiler house
The purpose of the systems is to dissipate the heat energy that is created by warm surfaces of the system technology. Furthermore, with this system the amount of air in the...Boiler house BT 01 is funded, which is required as combustion air for the combustion systems line 3 and new line 4. The concept envisages discharging the amount of air that rises from the warm surfaces of the system technology in the boiler house under the ceiling on level 9 and in the lower areaI levels U1 and E1 as well as on the east side of level 6, as fresh, cool outside air in the same amount. For this purpose, a total of 6 supply air ventilation systems are planned in the boiler house with an air volume of 345,000 m³/h. This amount of air is supplied via 17 exhaust fans below the deck...
